Social Obligations:
The committee felt the need to respond to issues faced of people at large in areas where Bhalavalikar Saraswat Brahmins are living primarily. Out of this urge; certain initiatives are launched:
A .Mobile Science Laboratory: To benefit to students in Std VIII to X where schools do not have own laboratory. This is done with active participation by Vidnyan Vahini, Pune.

B. Training to Science Teachers teaching students in Std VIII to X:
The training camps are organized for science teachers where experts make subject, easy to understand. Thus teachers can pass on knowledge to students more effectively. This again solely possible with help of Vidnyan Vahini, Pune.

C. Special Mention–
1. 2008 June 14 Kiran Dhanawade, a poor and handicapped student but keenly wanting to study, was donated three wheeler scooter. The Mandal took lead in collecting money from community members to buy scooter.
2. 2016-17- Akshay Sandeep Gurav at Dabhil Ambere, a deaf and dumb student was donated Vikrant sewing machine and Vikrant special stand table.
3. 2017-18: Shri. Dhondu Ganapat Aadvilkar, a poor and handicapped person staying at
Poornagad, Ratnagiri was donated Honda Activa Scooter on 14th sept 2017.
