  • * December 27 & 28, 1927 - Gathering at original Place/Village Bhalavali .

           About 400 community members were present.
           Held at courtyard (river side) of Balaji Ramchandra Kelkar

  • * Year 1929 - First Students from community achieving noteworthy success
  •        1) Gajanan Raoji Kamat– He is the first student who completed graduation (B.A.) with educational aid from Mandal. Also first person from            community who proceeded to London for I.C.S. examination.
           2) Smt Sharadabai Krishnarao Kabir and Smt Sitabai Janardan Tendulkar first lady students from community passing matriculation            examination.
  • * Year 1929-30 Sadashiv Raghunath Wagle & Gopal Raghunath Wagle donated Rs. 16000/- to Mandal , money which they received by         selling all their assets and ‘Wagle Trust’ is created.
  • * April 8, 1934, Felicitation of Raosaheb Vinayak Mahadeo Tendulkar, Kokban at Bandhan under chairmanship of Shri.Shantaram Vithal         Wakade on Government conferring on him title ‘Sardar’.
  • * Year 1938, community census was undertaken by committee comprising Shri.Krishna Antaji Kamat, Shri.Ganesh Hari Kamat and          Shri.Kashinath Vasudeo Khatkul.
              Findings of Census: Men -  2200, Women -  2117, Total -  4317 and Families -  831.
  • * April 30, 1939 First Common Thread Ceremony was held.
  • * 1943 – 44 Shri Hari Sadanand Shevade donated Rs. 20000/-.'Shevade Nidhi' created.
  • * Year 1949, Silver Jubilee of Mandal under committee of Trustees:- Vishnu Ramchandra Patkar & Balwant Bhaskar Patkar

  • * December 13, 1953 Felicitation of Shri Gajanan Raoji Kamat, I.C.S.; on his appointment as a representative on World Bank by Govt of     India.
  • * 1953-54, Smt Indumati Shripad Tendulkar donated Rs. 30000/- in memory of her late husband Shripad Dattatray Tendulkar with a condition      that Marriage Hall will be given his name.
  • * 1954-55, Smt Anandibai Purushottam Sakhalkar donated Rs. 10000/- to institute scholarship in memory of her sister Late Savitribai Kalvari     and another Rs.10000/- to build student hostel in memory of her sister’s husband Late Dinkar Vasudeo Kalvari.
  • * 1960-61, a plot of land purchased admeasuring 1608 square vaar at Mogul Lane, Mahim, Mumbai – 400 016 in order to have own building.
  • * October 18, 1961, Thursday, Vijayadashami, cornerstone was set for own building at hands of Shri Balkrishna Mahadeo alias Bapusaheb     Sardar.
  • * September 28, 1963, Vaastushanti of Saraswat Bhawan , own building at hands of Shri Balwant Bhaskar Patkar and his wife Smt. Indirabai     Patkar.
  • * January 19, 1964, Sunday opening ceremony of Marriage Hall named after Late Shripad Dattatray Tendulkar under Chairmanship of      Shri Dattatray Vishnu Tendulkar alias Prafuldatta.
  • * 1974-75 Golden Jubilee Year.  October 15, 1974 Golden Jubilee Function under Chairmanship of Shri Gajanan Raoji Kamat, I.C.S.
  • * October 26, 1974 – drama by Purnima Theatre ‘ Palaa Palaa Kon Pudhe Pale To’ written by Baban Prabhu at Ravindra Natya Mandir as a     part of Golden Jubilee celebration.
  • * October 4, 1984 Vijayadashami, Diamond Jubilee Anniversary Day Celebrations under Chairmanship of Prof Ramesh Achyut Tendulkar.

    Diamond Jubilee Year Chairman Dr. Chandrakant Mahadeo Bandivadekar. Yuva Mandal presented drama ‘Zopi Gelela Jaaga Zala’ at     Karnataka Sangh Hall.
